Aigera bustier top
Aigera is a close-fitting lined bustier top with an accentuated waist and a shaped hem. It features separate bust cups and sleeves. The front and back are fitted with princess seams stiffened with synthetic whalebone. The close-fitting raglan sleeves are long. The stand collar fastens with snaps. The bustier top fastens with a separating zipper at the center front. Aigera is below-waist length.
Model Angelina: Height 174 cm (5’7”), Bust 84 cm (33 1/8”), Waist 62 cm (24 3/8”), Hips 91 cm (35 7/8”). Angelina is wearing size 36 in height 3.
Approximate sewing time — 2 days (16 hours).
To sew this bustier top, choose medium-weight, soft, highly stretchy knit fabrics. The stretch factor should be at least 1.5.
You can determine the stretch factor yourself. Mark a 10 cm (4") section across the width of the fabric, lay a ruler next to the marked section, and stretch the fabric. Divide the measurement you get by 10.
The fiber content must include elastane or spandex and can also include natural, artificial, blended, or synthetic fibers.
The following fabrics are recommended: knits, double-knit jersey.
Attention! We recommend using only stretchy fabrics to sew this bustier top.
The bustier top in the photo is made of double-knit jersey. The fabric is medium weight, soft, and stretchy. The fiber content is 70% viscose + 25% nylon + 5% elastane. The fabric weight is 320 g/m².
The stretch factor is 1.5.
The lining of the garment is made of double-knit jersey. The fiber content is 70% viscose + 25% nylon + 5% elastane.
The fabric weight is 220 g/m². The stretch factor is 1.5.

8. One pair of type 1 bra underwires in the necessary size
9. Matching thread — 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker)
− sewing machine for construction
− overlocker for finishing raw edges. This may be replaced with a stretch overlock stitch or a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine (overlock or zigzag stitch width 2–3 mm, stitch length 2.5 mm)
− stitch-in-the-ditch foot for the sewing machine (optional)
− one-sided foot for attaching the zipper
− hole puncher or awl
− press tool and molds for installing snaps
IMPORTANT! We recommend using specialty needles when working with knit fabrics (for example, STRETCH, SUPER STRETCH, JERSEY, etc.). These are ballpoint needles, so they part the threads of the fabric you are stitching without piercing them.
