I have never had a dress fit so well.

The cover image is not the finished product, but close to finished. At times i did struggle with the instructions, for example "matching pairs" was vague and it took me a little while to figure out. The inner bodice front cups could have been slightly smaller to compensate for the size difference when theyre turned. The sleeves were also very difficult to navigate, especially turning them when attached to the dress, and ultimately i decided to do them separate (not attached) to the main garment. I also made the skirt a midi pencil and added a vent at the back. The issue i ran into was that the vent did not want to stay straight and took a bit of navigating. I also self-lined the entire bodice, lined the skirt with standard lining, and added boning to help maintain shape. I also removed the straps and reshaped the back so it ran smoothly from the side seam to the centre back / zip. Overall i have never received so many compliments on a dress, it was very easy to sew and i am a total vikisews convert.
